HarmonyWorkbook derives from the software Harmony Practice, published in 2001 and developed by the same author, Fausto Torre, with the pedagocical collaboration of Michel Baron.

The current version also benefits from the pedagogical collaboration of Davide D’Urso who teaches theory, analysis and composition at the Liceo Musicale C. Tenca of Milan.
